The First Avenue Streetscape Upgrade is a key infrastructure project supporting the continued growth and development of the Maroochydore CBD. The project will deliver a safer, more accessible and vibrant streetscape for residents, visitors and local businesses.

• Raised pedestrian crossings and scramble crossings
• Upgraded footpaths and associated services
• Accessibility improvements throughout the corridor
• New shared pedestrian and cyclist pathways
• Landscaping and streetscape enhancements
• Installation of street furniture
