Bruce Highway Overtaking Lanes, Gin Gin

Construction of over 5km of overtaking lanes on the Bruce Highway between Duingal and Wallaville. Scope includes 40,000m3 of bulk earthworks, large jacked and laid stormwater drainage (up to 2700’s), pavements (120kT of roadbase), guardrail, lighting, asphalt and spray seal. Working in a brownfield environment under complex traffic arrangements.

Isis Highway

Construction of two overtaking lanes on the Isis Highway, south of Bundaberg. The works invovled over 9000m3 of earthworks and 20,00 tonnes of gravel widenings and overlays, constructed under traffic. The pavement was cement stabilised and finished with 50mm asphalt.

Enoggera Bowls Club

GRC Civil engaged in works for the construction of civil services, roadworks and bulk earthworks for the Enoggera Bowls Club redevelopment. The internal works saw GRC complete extensive bulk earthworks and stormwater drainage while the externals saw GRC working with Brisbane City Council for the construction of the pavement, stormwater drainage structures and concrete works.

Toowoomba Grand Central

GRC Civil successfully completed the design and construction of the Toowoomba Grand Central redevelopment. The works consisted of substantial electrical and road works, ranging from the installation of traffic signals to the reinstatement of pavements and nearly 2km of kerb and channel with the project coming to just over $5.6 million in value.

Jalrock Place Industrial Development

The works completed for the continued industrial development on Jalrock Palce, Carole Park involved the implementation of extensive environmental controls including the installation of sediment basin. Furthermore, the works included bulk earthworks and the construction of site haul roads.
