As the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games approached, the Department of Transport and Main Roads contracted GRC Civil to replace variable message signs along the Pacific Motorway. The works consisted of installation of new VMS signs and gantry at eight locations, with modifications required to the foundation at three of the sites.
