Following the 2024 storms, GRC Civil delivered the remediation of nine sites across five TMR roads within the North Coast District.

The project focused on restoring and stabilising storm-affected slopes through 430m of soil nailing, 1,000m² of scaling, 22m³ of shotcrete and 1,200m² of hydro compost and coir mesh, alongside clearing, tree felling and debris removal from channels and table drains.

With sites spread across the region, works required careful daily mobilisation, complex traffic control and strong environmental management, particularly during soil nail installation. Despite high traffic volumes and multiple traffic setups across individual sites, GRC Civil successfully delivered the remediation works safely and efficiently.
